This is a comprehensive one-day didactic and hand-on training session for on label and off label indications for poly-l-lactic acid (Sculptra®). Commonly injected areas with PLLA include the face, butt and body.
Sculptra® is a Health Canada and FDA approved biocompatible and biodegradable biostimulatory agent, indicated on-label for use in people with health immune systems for correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles. Sculptra can help stimulate natural collagen growth which can assist in correcting asymmetries in other areas of the body as well. It is best known for its ability to provide patients with natural results.
Physicians will also receive signed Personal Record of Training in Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures forms on request to facilitate scope of practice changes with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Ontario (CPSO).
